Go hardware and add an Arturia Keystep Pro instead of software. It sequences, it arpeggiates, it transposes all on 4 separate MIDI channels simultaneously :)

And WTH is a TIA Tablet? is android or ipad?

The best App is the one you find suits your needs.

Assuming you have an iPad then there are thousands of Apps.

Post your actual needs i.e. synthesiser, piano sound, instruments, DAW, looper, learning (Playground Sessions, Flowkey etc).

If you had an iPad, you should use GarageBand. You will love it. Until you are sick of the few annoyances. Like I can't stand the extra-loud click added to the beginning of all the Organ samples. Organ tracks sound terrible. I mean...

Get GarageBand. It is awesome. Then when you discover that you have outgrown it, you will know what you really need.

However, if you had an iPad, you would have said "iPad," but you said "tablet." So we must assume you have an Android tablet.

So I searched for "GarageBand for Android" to see what the world suggests.
Here is a synopsis cribbed from some website called beebom.com:
1. FL Studio Mobile (FL stands for Fruity Loops) $15
2. Caustic 3, free, but in-app purchases
3. Music Maker Jam, free, but in-app purchases
4. n-track Studio DAW, free, but in-app purchases
5. Walk Band, free, but in-app purchases
6. BandLab. Free.
7. Song Maker, free, but in-app purchases
8. uFXloops Music Studio, free, but in-app purchases
9. Audio Evolution Mobile Studio, $10
10. J4T Multitrack Recorder, $3.50

Pick one.

@ANYBODY ON THIS BOARD LIKE ANY OF THE ABOVE??

If you just want a piano or Rhodes or organ, you could start with "Pocket Organ C3B3" or "Perfect Piano."

Maybe I will have to charge up my galaxy tab and check out the play store.

If using a tablet (android), which I have as well.
You may need an "interface"
Is that right?
I want to start using "audacity" on my tablet
Do I need to buy an interface?
Audacity does not seem to be currently available on the Google Play Store, nor the Apple App Store for that matter. There's an Audacity HRM app but it has nothing to do with recording/editing music.

If you decide to download one of the other alternatives, the need for an interface would depend on whether your keyboard has it's own USB Audio. If it does, you would then probably require a USB-B to USB - C cable, or whatever socket your tablet uses for data transfer. Amazon sells them but they are usually listed as Printer cables, so might or might not work.

All he needs is a USB A to B Printer cable. The A connector will probably be 2.0. where you can always plug in a C adapter to connect to your tablet.

10 freaking replies and he still hasn't answered if it's android or ipad.

We're shooting blanks in the dark here boys.

I'm not wasting anymore time on this.

He said tablet.
I believe tablet is android.
Ipad is apple.

Yeah?
I don't assume a couch is a chesterfield or a refrigerator is a Frigidaire and a tablet is an android.

Brand names are distinct from common nouns and should not be used interchangeably.

You blokes invented the language, use it with precision :D
