I'm studying the chords and inversions of Beethoven's Op 27 No. 2 1st mvt. There is one chord inversion that I don't know what it is: N6. What does the N stand for?
A major chord based on first inversion with a flattened second.
If you want to inflict brain pain, Google Music Notation N6 and read the responses. It is Music Theory knowledge at levels us mere hobbyists can only dream of attaining.
