Behringer FCB1010 - Programming the Foot Controller for Tyros/Genos

Once you've experienced the comfort of controlling your keyboard with a foot controller while playing, you won’t want to go without it. I’ve slightly modified an affordable Behringer controller, and there are two ways to program it: manually or via free software. I’d like to share both methods with you—maybe it's useful for​

Programming the Behringer MIDI Foot Controller manualy:​

1. Select the bank to be programmed using the UP/DOWN buttons.
2. Choose the footswitch to program (1–10).
3. Press and hold DOWN for 2 seconds → Confirm with UP/ENTER.
4. Briefly press Footswitch 10 (it will start blinking) → Confirm with UP/ENTER.
5. Enter the MIDI note code using buttons 1–10 (e.g., C0 = 24 like in my Layout) → UP/ENTER.
6. Press and hold DOWN for 2 seconds to save.
