All I can say is that I've never had a problem with mine and I'm sure Biggles would say the same. Focusrite are good too but again, a bit more expensive.Behringers have a bad rep for DOA. Focusrite Scarlet seems to be a very popular choice these days.
Myself I use a Makie 12 Channel mixer with USB soundcard and FX built in.
Depends if you ever plan to expand your rig.![]()
Sorry, no.All I can say is that I've never had a problem with mine and I'm sure Biggles would say the same. Focusrite are good too but again, a bit more expensive.
Oh, I didn't realise you had been having issues with your's - maybe I missed some of your posts. So far, mine has not given me any problems.Sorry, no.
My Behringer is very fussy with its placement, it picks up mains hum and has a hiss if near power supplies, speakers or the keyboard.
Presently all is quiet with it in its current location.
If at some stage it fails I would replace it with a Mackie.
Initially I had no problems but last year when I bought the Korg I had to reconfigure the cabling and add speakers and then the Behringer placement became an issue. Solved by adding another shelf and re-routing cabling.Oh, I didn't realise you had been having issues with your's - maybe I missed some of your posts. So far, mine has not given me any problems.
That's interesting. It sounds like it may have been something to do with cable shielding rather than the Behringer unit itself? I know some USB cables are shielded but don't think they all are. Anyway, glad to hear that the re-route fixed it for you.Initially I had no problems but last year when I bought the Korg I had to reconfigure the cabling and add speakers and then the Behringer placement became an issue.
