I don't have a Dell Inspiron but a friend has just donated his old desktop to help me out as the motherboard on mine stopped working.

It's a Dell Dimension 9150.

It's odd but even though it's from the same maker as your computer, it doesn't like the look of the keyboard you've posted. Isn't that strange - what with them being practically brothers (or sisters or ...)?

Anyway it just got me thinking of the old nature/nurture debate.

Your computer likes a qwerty keyboard and mine likes being driven by the input from my midi controller or the audio from my Joe Meek preamp.

It's a funny old world.
