You might be best off asking the Trinity School whether they recommend a particular keyboard for their exams.

As far as the Yamaha PSR-I455 versus the Casio CTK-7300IN, I've never played either one, so I can't offer an informed opinion as to which one is better. I do know that the PSR-I455 doesn't have the kind of song-editing functions that the CTK-7300IN does:
  • The PSR-I455 lets you record songs in real time, but you can't edit the individual notes on the keyboard afterward-- you must either re-record that particular track if you want to change something, or else save the song to a MIDI file and then edit it in a DAW.
  • The CTK-7300IN will let you record songs in real time and then edit the notes on the keyboard afterward, although that can be a cumbersome process with a lot of steps to go through-- or you can save the song to a MIDI file and then edit it in a DAW.
Generally speaking, it's much easier to edit songs in a DAW. Some DAWs even let you compose music in notation view, as on music paper. And there are other programs that let you write music in notation form if your DAW doesn't have a notation view.

I think there are-- or used to be-- some users on this forum who own a PSR-I425 or PSR-I455, or one of the Indian Casio keyboards (CTK-810IN, CTK-860IN, CTK-6300IN, or CTK-7300IN). You might try searching the forum for their old posts.
