Hi I'm considering investing a DSI Tetra or Moog Slim Phatty synth module and would like to hook it up via MIDI. Could anybody recommend to me a sturdy/reliable 49 key MIDI keyboard controller with plenty of knobs that ideally is under £200?

No personal recommendations FOR, but I advise you stay far far away from the M-Audio Oxygen 49 controller. Crappy action and no real MIDI ports.

On the other hand, Akai and Studiologic controllers seem to get good reviews,.

Yeah I have the Oxygen 61 and its very annoying that it doesn't have MIDI In and Out and that it is only usb powered. Studiologic I've never really heard much of might have a look at their stuff
