Hello.
I am into bubblegum pop and I've run into this peculiar sounding keyboard that I need help identifying. It almost sounds like a Fender Rhodes, but it's not. It seems to be able to hold notes, until let go, there is a short decay. What's interesting is when it plays lower notes, it has a sort of 'growl'. This keyboard eludes me. I've ruled out the Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer Electric and B-3 organ.
Does anyone have any idea what keyboard it could be?
Here is an example song. It comes in after the intro and plays throughout pretty much the rest of the song.

It's also used in the Archies' Sugar Sugar during the motifs and the outro.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you google Paul Griffin, you will see lots of pictures of him playing.
Looks like a Hammond.
However he most likely used what was part of the recording studio at the time. . Farfisa were popular in the 60's and 70's.

I have a Farfisa organ on my Nord. The sound doesn't match. Also, Paul Griffin was not a session player for the Archies, it was Ron Frangipane.

I sense disdain and smarty-pants in your reply.
A little gratitude would be nice, even if you are correct.
Besides, Paul Griffin did play a part in The Archies. Check his profile.

Sorry if I came across that way. Was just quickly responding.
Re: Paul, he may have played on the album This Is Love, as Jeff Barry was barely involved with that, but Ron Dante confirmed Frangipane was the keyboardist, as they were close friends. What's interesting is Frangipane also released an orchestral album with a re-arrangement in Jingle Jangle.

Sounds like a Rhodes to me. How/why did you rule that out?
The reason I don't think it's a Rhodes is because the sound seems to sustain until the key is released, kind of like an organ. Also, the Rhodes has that, how to describe it, 'percussive' kind of sound when it's played.

One thing I haven't ruled out completely is one of the RMI pianos/organs, but I'm not too familiar on their sound. But I believe they had ways of switching between decaying like a piano or sustaining like an organ.
