C'ant put a sertain song in the set list

I am making a list of Christmas songs and the PA700 does not want to place a certain song in the list?
Despite the list being set to enable set list edit and I could place all other songs in it, the box for this song in the songbook remains gray?
Does anyone have a suggestion? (restarting the PA700 did not help either)

It is a bit of a guess but as it is grey it could be a resource linking issue.

Try saving the source Style of the Greyed song to the Songbook and then add it to the Setlist.

If that works then you know what to do.

I tried everything, I even remade the song, I can play it perfectly but I can't place it in the set list

Silly as it might sound, could it be a problem with the name of the song? (something like containing a certain character that the software can't deal with, or a first word that is also a command of some kind, that kind of thing)

OK a possible solution.

Download Korg’s Songbook Editor and install it.

Connect up your Pa to your PC and use the software to manage the songs and setlists.

I used to use it when I had a 700, it was better than using the screen on the Pa, quicker and easier.

Just be sure you select Pa700 in the Editor’s menu system.

I found the solution.
The cause was the Direct mode.
After removing the USB everything seemed to work fine again.

Direct Mode, reads and uses certain Resources that can reside on the USB memory stick.

Styles can playback from a USB memory stick as long as the Sounds/Set Lists reside in the main memory.

The Osimo resources (Songbook and Setlists) play directly from the USB memory stick.

So it may have been just a glitch.

Do you happen to know if Osimo works with other Korg keyboards or is it only for the Pa5X? I'm wondering if it would be suitable for my Pa1000, perhaps in a somewhat limited way.

There are versions of Osimo for the 700, 1000, 4X and 5X.

Each version is specific the the model of keyboard.

In the 700, 1000 & 4X you turn on the feature Direct Access in the Menu.

Osimo is installed on a USB memory stick and it stays there.

Alas I do not have the Osimo for the 1000.

Thanks, Biggles. Unfortunately, it looks like Korg has pulled the Pa1000 version, along with the others you mentioned.

The only one I can see listed on their US and UK sites are for the Pa5x. Also, as you probably know, Korg World Uk does not show up so unless someone who does have a copy they can share, I'll need to do without. Maybe Korg are trying to 'encourage' us plebs to move up to their flagship.
