The on/off slide switch of my Casio CA-100 broke off, does anyone know where I could find a replacement?
I checked the part mentioned in the service manual, but no results.
The keyboard is thirty + years old. Parts are unlikely to find. The cost of purchasing a used CA-100 is no more than $100 (USD). The switch is probably plastic, take it apart glue the pieces together, let sit for 24 hours and reinstall. If it is stuck "on" use the power supply plug as the new on/off switch; plug in for on, unplug for off.
Honestly, this is a job that requires a hardware hack.
Just open it up, drill a 1/4" hole in a free spot in the chassis and install a $2 rotary or pushbutton switch instead. It's probably a 2P4T switch anyway.
