CDP100 12 yrs old crapped out.

My CDP100 stopped working a couple months ago. I tested the wall outlet and it’s fine. I don’t have earphones attached. It just won’t do anything. Is it a fuse or something? The charger? I don’t have $350-$500-$∞ to buy a newer, better model. Any suggestions?

Are you seeing anything lit?

Does the keyboard have a Kettle Lead as the power feed or does it have a Power Brick in the lead that will give a DC voltage to the keyboard.

If the keyboard will run on batteries try using fresh ones.

If there is a Button Cell battery, change that

If all else fails I would rig up a series of batteries to the right voltage and connect them to the keyboard.

If it still does not power on then the options become limited unless you are a dab hand with a soldering iron and using electronic test instruments.
