I started with a single note on my Moog Grandmother that goes into a Boss delay pedal. It has 2 outputs, one dry and the other is the effect. I take both of those outputs and run them into 2 separate channels in my mixer. I use a StudioLive mixer as my interface for my DAW. I had to play with the delay time to get it close enough to a steady beat. I had one channel hard panned left and the other panned right. I have the Moog set so that once I play the first note, the sequencer in it continues to play that note. I can tweak the filter knobs as it plays itself. I had a sound on my Wavestation and just played chords on it. The noise effect is one that I made on my King Korg using the Ring Modulator. I tweak the drive knob to get the sound to sweep and I have a stereo phase on the sound that pans it left and right as well as modulated delay. These are all onboard effects on the King Korg. Then I also played chords and single notes using a few different sounds that I made on my Kronos. I recorded it live into my Cubase DAW. I rehearsed parts of it but what you hear is the first full take of it.

Excellent! Thanks. That was precise.

The first thing that crossed my mind was "God's Balls" when I saw the title.

The beat was reminiscent of Pink Floyd's welcome to the machine.

Much knob twiddling and filter sweeping going on throughout.

Very well suited to a dramatic score.

Nice job. :)

BTW, try MIDIing up the sequencer in your grandmother to layer up with the other synths for some totally gnarly results.
