Hi
I have a Yamaha DGX 660. The problem happens when the accompaniment selection is Full Keyboard. When fingering a chord, the keyboard recognizes it as a different chord and applies it to the background style. It happens often when playing jazz styles which use a lot of open and rootless chords as well as 9ths, 13ths, etc. I'm not a music theory expert so I am asking to see how others solve the problem. I can add notes to the chord but it is usually down low and muddies the sound.
Thank you
Tony
