Hello there,

I have an old Casio WK-1250 and was hoping to be able to use it with Sonar. I am new to the world of keyboards and do not know much. It has a MIDI in and out and I know that there are MIDI to USB adapters and such. I have also read, however, that some of those adapters are "picky" about what keyboards they work with.

Any suggestions of an adapter that would work (or any other ideas of how I could make this work) would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much.

One of these should work fine.

http://www.amazon.com/HDE-Cable-Converter-Music-Keyboard/dp/B001LJUVO4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389134068&sr=8-1&keywords=usb midi interface

but if you feel like spending the money on something a bit better consider one of these instead.

Make sure you connect IN to OUT and OUT to IN and it should work fine in Sonar without having to load any drivers.
