D20 Rhythms volume almost zero

Hi all

It was on another thread, but I recently had a problem getting my Roland D20 to accept the original sounds via a midi reboot, thankfully I have now resolved that one (and welcome back Warm Pad Fade!).

But.

I managed to play rhythm tracks at normal volume after this reboot, but after switching off the keyboard and switching it back on, the rhythm patterns are now planning at almost no volume.If I turn the Amp up to full I can hear them, but then the keyboard sound itself is liable to shatter the windows...

An idea what setting has changed, and how I might get it back?

The manual suggests that the volume of rhythm tracks is retained at switch off,and indicates how to alter the volume.
Is there any internal battery - and is it ok?

@Lee Borrel - I came here to find a solution for this and yes, actually the Volume Level was set to 11 by no particular reason. This helped very much on my D-10 since i would *never* have guessed that key combination. Thanks!
