Brand new in the box for $3800... Is it a good deal? If it is a 2021 model could it be upgraded to new Genos 2 version? Other than it's own mini speakers attached to its main frame what else would be a great sound system for it?

Assuming you are in the US where a new Genos is $6000 your brand new in the bix at $3800 seems to good to be true.

Version 2 is just an updated OS that can be loaded via a USB stick, in line with what seems pretty standard OS 2 provides additional features and unlocks extra memory.

As for speakers look at Pre Sonus Eris 5 Ex as these will give you a starting point for researching further
