Hammond Player Sessions @ Production Room Leeds, UK

Just a heads up for anyone in the UK, the shop I work in Leeds called Production Room is holding a Hammond Player Day with Malc Deakin and Barrie Freeman from Hammonnd.

The day will be split into two sessions, the first session will take place at 2:30pm and the second at 7:30pm.

The first session at 2:30pm will consist of product demonstrations from Hammond's official UK product specialist Malc Deakin. An introduction to the Hammond and Leslie product range, and an insight into studio and stage techniques. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and get to try out the gear throughout the session.

The second session will take place at 7:30pm, and features the incredible Hammond B3 Mk2 Classic. The session will also be an opportunity to hear the famous "Live Hammond Grove", as Malc will be joined by Drummer Chris Durling and Guitarist Cecil Zinyuku for a special live set.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the show. What a great day, Malc ran a great clinic and the band in the evening sounded excellent. We have the Hammond B3 Mk2 Portable and XK33 systems in store for anybody to try, We also have the Leslie 3300 and 2101 systems in store too.

I agree Martin - it was a great day - everything about it was good!

I particually enjoyed the bit you & I did when you were playing & I was fiddling about with the drawbars!.....

+ jamming along with the guys a bit later on.....

when you get that 'smile/nod/wink' amongst fellow musos,
