Hello,
I recently purchased a Hammond XK5 off of Ebay and quickly noticed there is an annoying high pitched buzz when I connect it to a speaker. I played the organ at a live show and the sound engineer told me it is probably an issue with a grounding loop, and when I disconnected the ground in my DI box the buzzing went away. However, I never have this issue with my nord keyboard I use with the same electric and sound system. I want to make sure there is nothing wrong with my organ and that I did not purchase a faulty organ on Ebay.
I also read on a forum that someone had a similar issue with an early shipment of the XK5 and hammond had them return and sent them one without the problem.
