As I write this . . It is past 10 am Christmas morning.
Been up for a few hours . Had to clean up the reindeer droppings.

Got a gathering happening later today.
My job this year to bring the meat!

It's Xmas eve here in Canada right now and I'm skyping with my extended family in Montreal tonight. We've exchanged all our gifts via couriers and we'll be opening them in about an hour. We're all maintaining our safe bubbles cause we've all gone into lockdown this week.

I hope none of you are planning any foolish risks for the sake of petty traditions today and tomorrow.

Santa was good to me this year. Aside from the usual socks and t-shirts I got a set of maracas and a lovely little chime that hits the purest note I've ever heard.
