I'm looking for a used keyboard and would appreciate any help on what to look for when purchasing one. Is it possible to keep it under $200?
Thank you

$200 buys you a low end Casio CTK or a low end Yamaha PSR. Even used you won't find anything good sounding at that price.

Welcome

New keyboards.

Casio CT X700 is $175 US, it is a 61 key arranger type keyboard with a synth type key action

Alternatively

Casio CDP S100 is $480 US is their lowest priced digital piano with 88 hammer action keys.

From Yamaha

NP12 $200 US, 61 key digital piano

PSR E360 $199 US, 61 key arranger type.

There is a distinct difference between a keyboard and a digital piano and if it is a digital piano that you seek then do look at a used Yamaha, Roland or Korg within your budget, if you see anying post its make and model number here and no doubt someone will suggest an action for you to take.

Good luck

I am very disapointed with the piano sounds on the Tyros 5, normaly I choose not to use them but recently I have been trying to learn piano
What in Hades does this have to do with a guy shopping for a $200 keyboard 3 years ago?
