This looks like a great forum, so I think it will be nice to become a part of it. I stumbled across it while searching the web for a solution to a problem I have with connecting a midi controller to a synth, so the first think I'll do after this is posting a thread about that in the midi section. I hope I'll be able to help others as well and join some discussions.
I study musicology and am on my master now, so my field of expertise is music theory and cultural theory. This semester I will do a project on the video game music industry.
