Hello from New York

I have performed for more than twenty years as a classical and flamenco guitarist, and I also teach both. I was formerly a music critic for the Los Angeles Times and the L.A. Herald-Examiner.

I play piano badly – self taught. Pianists on the forum would bust a gut laughing watching me play – I play a single note melody line with the right hand, and occasionally plunk a root position triad with the left, though lately I'm graduating to root position arpeggios. Oh well . . . . .
