Help with samples

What can I do to play a sample without holding down on a key. The sample is in a combi I made for the Final Countdown

You can selectively program the sustain pedal to "hold" some of the notes in your combi (e.g. the ones in the timbre that has the sample in question) while not holding other notes you're playing with other timbres.
