Hi everyone,

I would like to know how to connect my Privia PX-150 (only midi usb) to sound module (only midi in/out). It's possible?

There's two ways you can do this.

1) Use a computer to act as a MIDI router between the two instruments.

2) Use a dedicated USB HOST MIDI Router. The PX-150 is USB MIDI Class compliant.

Here's the hardware you'd need for option #2:

or for option #1 you'd need this cable to connect your module to your computer as well as a standard USB AB Printer cable for the Casio.

Option #1 is the cheaper solution but option #2 doesn't rely on booting up and hauling around a computer if you're gigging.

Gary ;)
