Nice little module. Looks rather similar to my Waldorf Blofeld Desktop. Same basic concept as well I guess.

At least with the waldorf the design is Digital Wavetables fed thru analog filters.

How's the virus designed?

Hi Gary,

The Virus specs say "Analog Filter" with caps so I don't really know - probably virtual, but I do know why you like the analog filters - same reason I used E-Mu Vintage Keys modules for many years. I like the Blofeld a lot too, and read a post from one guy that said the ultimate is the Snow & Blofeld together simultaneously.

I just love the sound of the Virus though.

Yeah it's virtual analog and wavetables with analog filtering. Same as the Blofeld.

But the only thing I'd like to point out is that the Blofeld sells for less than half the price of the virus though.

I'm seeing a whole mess of Access Virus Keyboards and Modules for sale up here in the greater Toronto area, at considerable savings over new prices.

Sort of makes me wonder why they sell off so quickly?
