Im purchasing in the near future the roland vk8m question?

at the present time I own a Roland xv2020 sound module whereby I purchased a footswith controller thru midi solutions which activates the leslie effect on my organ patches cc4(midi controller 4)
does anyone think this will work with the Roland vk8m leslie simulator?
