Hi guys,

I have a P-125 with the triple pedal unit. Is there a way to use the left two pedals to control certain functions on the SmartPianist app? Is this something that can be configured?

Ideally, in the SmartPianist app, I would like to find a way to pause/play music on my iPad without taking my fingers off the piano but have not figured out a way yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I do not have a triple pedal unit on my P 121 hence cannot be definitive.

In the Utilities section of Smart Pianist there is a section on the Pedal Unit where you can set it so the left and centre pedals become page down and page up, but as the App is generic for the Yamaha DP range I am unsure if it will appear on your P125, I have found that looking at features when my iPad is not connected is one thing but it is different when connected.

The MIDI manual may also give you some guidance.

Thank you! Yes, I use the pedals for page up/down, and that's where the thought came to use it for stop/pause. So far I have not found a way. I was hoping there would be a hack or something! I'll keep searching and if I find a way, I will post here.
