Hi all
over the past 40 years I have had many electronic organs but they all led to nothing much.
I have now got more time to spend learning so my question is with in a budget of say £200-£400 could you advise me of a keyboard that has nice flute sounds and if possible a nice theatre sound as well.
I also like the orchestral sounds as well and want a split keyboard to play two sounds together like the organ.
I have been on u tube and heard the Yamaha tyros and this sounds great but very expensive.
sorry if I am going on a bit.
thank you very much in advance for any advice.

In that price range take a look at the Yamaha PSR-e433

http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musi...oards/portable_keyboards/psr-e433/?mode=model

and the Casio CTK-7000

http://www.casio.com/products/archive/Digital_Pianos_&_Keyboards/Portable_Keyboards/CTK-7000/

or the Casio WK-7500

http://www.casio.com/products/archive/Digital_Pianos_&_Keyboards/Workstation_Keyboards/wk-7500/

Always remember to try them out in person if you are able before you buy, but a lot of youtube demos can be a good indicator as well.

Not really a fair question to ask me. I have a personal bias against Yamaha products mainly because of their total disregard for Linux compatibility in their product history.

Anyway, we all have our own criteria for choosing what we buy and between the CTK and the WK I'd go for the WK since they are virtually identical except the WK has a larger keyboard.

Then again if organ sounds are important to you I'd advise auditioning both the Yamaha and the Casio and determining which one sounds better to you. Sound is a very subjective thing.

One other suggestion is with 400 UK Pounds to spend you may want to take a look at your local craigslist and see what's floating around used.

http://london.craigslist.co.uk/sear...bb=msa&query=keyboard&minAsk=&maxAsk=&excats=

It may not always be the latest and greatest but sometimes Mummy's pride and joy bails on the music lessons and a cherry piece of gear turns up for half price.

In any case if you're buying used I wouldn't look seriously at anything older than 5 years old.

Hi
got sorted with a keyboard (Yamaha psr e433).
could anybody tell me where I can get music with fingering for chords and right hand?.
also can the split keyboard on the Yamaha have two separate volumes?.
thank you.
