Have not turned on my kn7000 for a few years and now the screen is yellowish! Hard to read but possible. What do I do?

I can't seem to find any spare parts for it anywhere on the web. Even an experienced tech will run into trouble digging up parts for it.

I'd say continue to use it while it lasts, but it's time to start hunting down a replacement.

There is a display at eBay if it's a trusted seller:

After much research I thought I would share this information.. The replacement for the LCD screen on the kn7000 is manufactured by Sharp. The part number is Sharp LM8M64. You can find it on Google. It is available from many sources and is not to difficult to install. It took me about 15 minutes to replace. Hope it helps…..

I see them on ebay but it says it’s a touch screen. Is that correct. If possible, send me a link to the one seller you bought from or show me which one on ebay please. Thanks!

Hi.
There is not a touch screen at SX-KN7000.
I did not buy any myself, I just found some info at the web to help you. :)
Btw,
the Sharp Display looks very similiar as the those at KN7K, so I think that the info from SynthZone forum is correct. 👍

If Google Sharp LM8M64 lcd display there will be some more items and info to find.

Here is a site where a KN7000 user wrote a comment about it:

Putting a new screen in the Technics KN7000

I am 87yrs old and saw the fellow putting the part into the keyboard on my computer. I thought I could do that to mine so bought it. It came three days later and 2hours after I was playing the music with the new screen. I just took my time, followed the instructions and it all went very well. Thanks a lot Wendy
