Korg ek50 wont start

I have a korg ek50 which has worked great for last 5 years. Worked a couple of days a go but now wont start up. No lights at all. Tried running on batteries as well just incase problem was power cable.
Anyone help me?

I have a friend who just threw his Pa600 away.

It stopped working and the estimate to repair it was £450.00

New they are currently £750.

I own the same keyboard - strangely enough this happened to me awhile back - all I did was flip the ac adapter around - and the EK50 turns on! Wherever I play at I have to make sure the power adapter is turned opposite. Odd, I know.
