Kurzweil Questions

Hello All,

I recently came into ownership (via inheritance) of a Kurzweil MidiBoard and Kurzweil Expander. I know nothing about either. Can you point me in a direction or provide some background as to the popularity and functionality of these machines. I can't seem to find much about them on my own. Thanks!

In terms of popularity, Brent Mydland (former Grateful Dead K/B player) used the Midiboard

The only expander I've heard of was the Kurzweil 1000 PX. Don't know much about it. here's the manual:
