Kurzweil RE-210 - lights just blink when turned on

I was given a Kurzweil RE-210 piano and was told that the 3 lights in the small screen just blink when is turned on. When I got it home and set up, I turned it on and it worked great! Next morning when I turned it on got the blinking lights. After 3 tries at turning it on, it finally operated normally. Today I get the 3 blinking lights. Haven’t been able to get it to come on yet.

Might be an issue with a dodgy capacitor or an intermittent contact problem.

Are you a tech or an end user?

Try picking it up, inverting it, and giving it a good shake and then try again.

At 120 pounds I highly doubt this solution is likely to be executed.

My son and I actually tried your first advice!! Didn’t help. Can capacitors be checked on the board or does each one have to be removed to test?

This is a job for a professional.

Switching power caps can hold a dangerous amount of charge.

Take it in for service.
