Very cool! Yes, what Bob said! You make the Genos sound very unique!
I have to ask; i see Chinese Characters, but your user location says Germany: Ni jiang zhoong wen ma?
(Forgive my mandarin pinying, I'm actually a native Cantonese speaker, but trying to phoenetecise Cantonese is a nightmare!)

That's easy to explain. The song was also the title track of Jackie Chan's Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. I just used the (hopefully) Mandarin title for fun—it's much shorter that way. And you're right, I'm based in Germany and don't speak a word of any Chinese language, although I do find it fascinating. Honestly, I'm already happy if I manage to stumble my way through English here 😁

Alas, Nein sprechen da deutsch! Your English seems just fine (much better than my non existent German language skills!)

Oh my goodness, I *watched* that film in theatres in 78; I'd just completely forgotten what the score sounded like. Come to think of it, I haven't rewatched any of his 70's stuff. Drunken Fist (retitled Drunken Master in English for some reason, but it Chinese, "Jui Kuen" means drunken fist technique (as in fighting style). I remember loving that in the theatre.

After all these years, I still think his Police Story was my Jacky Chan favourite film; (although Police story 7 (2013) was just *awful*)

Those 70s movies aren't all that well-known over here either. Sure, people know Jackie Chan, but I think he's definitely more popular in the US. My English is mostly what I picked up at school, and I still have to ask Dr. Google for help with some vocabulary now and then. 😄 Luckily, music speaks a universal language. Und ja, dafür spreche und schreibe ich fließend deutsch ;-)

It translates to The Rolling Fart On The Curtain Rod. :)

How would you spell that?

My dad came from Danzig, before the war. :D
