material for building case

I need to build a road case for my board- I know there is some type of fabric material I can staple on outside to make it a bit more protected (black material) - Anyone know the name of it?

There used to be a stick on vinyl material called Mactac or something like that.

Dunno if you'll be able to find it locally or not though.

Maybe at Lowes or Home Depot.
