My Korg M50 is only playing one chanel (track) from Cakewalk by BL

My Korg M50 is only playing one chanel (track) from Cakewalk by BL. In the Global settings basic on Korg M50 I have to choose which midi chanel to use. I want to use all 16 midi chanels from Cakewalk. I am not sure if it is a problem with Korg M50 or with Cakewalk. If I set midi chanel to 1 in Korg, only chanel 1 from Cakewalk plays in Korg. When I added a new track it came no sound from it in Korg. It seems not to be possible to choose more than one chanel in Korg. It would be great if someone had any ideas how to solve this problem.

Hi, to receive on all 16 channels in a Korg, you have to set “Midi In “for all 16 channels ie track1 midi channel 1, track2 , midi 2. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with your particular model, but I’m pretty sure there should be a section for “midi settings”, not Global. On my PA5x I use the Default midi setting For my xg works sequencer software.

Hi, thank you for answer. The midi-settings are a submenue under global settings. I could not find that there is possible to set more than one midi chanel. I took a picture on the menue. There is an option for " Note receive" and it could be All, Odd or Even. Iam not sure whath that means.

Check the MIDI routing tab on that screenshot.

Do note, if something does not work check for firmware updates. And try again sure for midi
