My Yamaha s650 automatically switches on

My Yamaha s650 keyboard automatically switches on anytime I connect the adaptor. I can't use the power button to turn it off unless I pull out the adaptor. The auto power off is not working. Please help me.

Obviously the switch is in need of replacement. In the meantime use the adapter as the on/off switch. plug in to turn on, unplug to turn off. Many mixers work the same way. No big deal.

Patient: Doctor, whenever I do this my arm hurts.......

Doctor: Then stop doing that! That'll be $50, pay on your way out.
