Need help with what to buy with casio keyboard

I just bought a Casio lk270 keyboard but was lookin for something else to add a few sounds or effects to it and just came across the Behringer Fx2000 Virtualizer 3D Digital Effects Processor. Im totally new to midi and keyboards etc and was just wondering if they are compatible and if its a good idea to add one of these to use with a keyboard?
