Need MIDI Help With HiHat Pedal

I want to use the KAT Multipad to trigger my Steven Slate SSD4 sounds inside Studio One 3 Pro. I can trigger the sounds fine on the pads of the Multipad and with the bass pedal but the KAT HiHat Pedal doesn't work. It will trigger a sound when pressed but nothing in between as a hihat pedal should. Inside the Midi Monitor of Studio One, after pressed down once it list that PolyPressure and G#1 was used, both on Channel 10 of the Multipad IN port.

I'm pretty sure it's just not setup right since it is recognizing 'PolyPressure' as a separate event than the triggering of G#1.
