I'm DS88 user - I love it but it currently will not power on - not sure if it's the cord or something internal mechanical or a software issue? Seeking help suggestions before I take have it serviced

It can run on batteries. Have you tested with those yet?

and try a voltmeter on the power brick.

A belated thanks for the info - it was the power supply - which I suspected all along - I got a new one and I'm up and running again.
