Hi,
I now have pedals connected to my PSR SX700. When I switch on, they play the lower octave of a piano. I can set up up to three parts for the right hand on this keyboard. I'd like to sacrifice part 3, and assign it to the pedals.
I can change channel on these pedals, I just need to know how to change part 3 so tht the sound of the pedals is changed rather than part 3 in the righthand.
I've no sight, and recognize that this will need to be done by someone who can use a touch screen, so clear instructions would be great, if it can be done of course...
Many thanks.

Sorry, could you elabourate? What do you mean they play the lower octave of the piano? Do you mean midi organ pedals? Or did you mean a footswitch pedal, and it drops the octave of the main voice on R1? Or did you mean you've got a footswitch pedal toggling left on/off which you can set to Left on the keyboard?

From the context I'm *guessing* that you mean midi organ pedals? Can you set the output midi channel on the pedals?

If not, go to Midi, Receive and step on the bass pedals and look at notes received; it'll light up red on the midi channel it's receiving. It's probably set to Ch1 Keyboard (as in every note is transmitted to the keyboard as is); if you tap on "Keyboard" and change it to "Right3" you'll accomplish what I *think* you're trying to do...

Mark,

That's great! A bit late over here now, but I'll pick this up later today.
I'm very grateful.

I did not specify which pedal that you currently have? midi pedal or just switch on/off pedal? If the midi controller pedal like Roland FC series then you can program any upper/lower part via midi channel and control it with midi CC message.
