Question on sampling - HELP!

I owned and created samples on a Kurzweil K2Vxs which I no longer own, but am planning on getting back into music. I want to buy a new keyboard (not a Kurzweil) and would like to re-use these samples.

Is it possible to get the samples from those original discs to "read/play" on another brand of keyboard? Or, is there a way to capture those Kurzweil sampled files via a floppy drive and format them into a "useable" format for another brand keyboard (Korg)???

If you can export your old samples in some common format (ideally, WAV), Korg keyboards that have sampling capabilities will be able to read them.
