So I recently bought myself a 2005 PowerMac G5 to be able to convert my old Cubase/VST songs (.all and .arr files) to modern .cpr files. The Mac is too nice for simple conversions, as the legacy VST Instruments bring back fond memories. Remember Model-E, PPG Wave, Waldorf Attack, Rob Papen's Albino, Cheeze Machine ..? So now I wanted to install Native Instruments Komplete 2. I have the original install disks and serial number. But I cannot install it, since NI stopped support for these old products in 2019. Bummer! Installation of Komplete 2 requires a system specific activation key xml-file which was generated through the now obsolete online NI system. I have an old key file, but that didn't work, since it was generated using another Mac. Does any of you forum members know of a workaround? Thanks in advance!
