Registration Memory . . PSR S650

Anyone have any clue as to WHY have I suddenly lost all of my "registration memory" ?

The whole of my pre saved intros, styles and backing tunes etc... all just disappeared.

Yesterday they were there. I shut down normally. No different than every other day.

Today when I turned on . . Nothing there! Every bank is blank. Out of 8 banks of 8 recordings, (64), I had about 50 saved. Some precious unique sounds I will never remember.

Please don't tell me I should have had a back up, I already know that. I just want to know WHY it happened and how can I prevent it happening again. I have already done a factory reset and started to record new sets.

Cosmic rays? Power spike? Overheated CPU?

Take your pick. Something activated the factory reset when it shouldn't have.

This is why we always back up our S###!!!

Backup regularly and backup often or become one of the universe's random little jokes.

Thanks for not giving me the lecture. You just subtly told me to back up. Haha.

I just have to learn how to back up.
I will pull my finger out and be ready for the next cosmic ray.
