I wasn't sure what it was but i did see in another thread that you can play the instruments through the DAW.
Not something i would likely fork over $20 a month for. But I do like that Roland seems to be very good at keeping their stuff fresh and incorporating new ways for their customers to enjoy their instruments.
I think you're basically renting the access to the sounds. At $20+ per month i find it out of reach in my particular case, at least for now. I wanted to use some sounds in the D-50 collection for a project but those are not included in the free subscription. I guess that project will have to wait.
