Roland HP337e Sustain problem

Hello, I have a roland HP337e piano.. Since a few months the sustain function doesn't work anymore. While playing it goes on and off.. I already disassembled the pedal block and assembled it on another HP337e piano. No sustain problem there, so I concluded the problem is not in the pedal block but inside the piano. Does anyone has or had the same problem? Apart from that problem the piano is in really good condition. I hope someone can help. Thank you. Barbara

Potentially the solder joint or the jack itself is an issue (hardware issue). Someone will need to take the unit apart; potentially resolder or replace the jack. from 30,000 feet that is what it seems like. Not really a big deal unless it is a part further downstream in the keyboard (but not likely).

Hello Dave, thank you so much for your reply. With solder joint or the jack do you mean on the pedal block? Or inside the piano? I already took the unit, that is the piano, untill the keys apart, but could not see anything weird or broken. Thanks again for your reply. Barbara
