I realize I bought this synth before many of you were born, nonetheless I'm hoping someone can help me.
Occasionally I turn the unit on and the LCD displays garbage. As I make changes, the displays changes as it normally would, but it's still garbage. At other times, everything appears normal.
The operating manual mentions an internal battery, yet gives no instructions as to how to change it. The unit is possibly forty years old and has the original battery. Though this is a sporadic problem, which can sometimes be overcome by power cycling the unit, is it possible the battery is the problem? Also, does anyone have any idea how to change the battery?
Thanks,
Gerry
