Roland Juno Di local on/off

I would be connecting a Yamaha cp33 midi out into the Roland Juno Di. The goal is to play bass, and only bass, (local on) on the Roland, and play the organ sounds, and only the organ patch, on the Roland (local off) via midi with the cp33. Does anyone know if this is possible with this synth?
