Thanks in advance for helping me with this issue.
-------------
Gear Used
Juno DS
Boss DR550 MKII
-------------
Drum Machine is set to MIDI tempo Sync, I tried Omni & Specific Chanels....No LUCK
Cables are correct Drum Machine in to Juno Out
I press Juno and hear the Drum Sounds from the Drum machine( Communication is set Properly)
-------------
I want to press Play on the Juno DS Sequencer and have it trigger the Start on the Drum machine...
I cant get this to work
-----------
Any ideas what settings might need to be modified within the Junos MIDI section...I pretty much tried them all

You've just discovered what we discovered 3 years ago. The Juno DS Step Sequencer does NOT transmit MIDI.

There is a workaraound.

You can save a pattern to a thumb drive as a MID file and export it that way.

That is not directly doable, but you can export the pattern as a MID file on a thumb drive and use that to drive your DR-550 from a DAW on a computer.

Awkward but it does work,

Hi Gary! I am having this problem too. Wondering if you might happen to know - is it possible to record a drum pattern I made on my drum machine (tr 8s) onto one of the Juno DS Sequencer channels? Thanks! I am a midi beginner :).

While you can play back your TR8s beats thru the Juno's Drum Kits and you can export the Juno's sequences as MID files, there's no way that I know of to import sequences to the Juno DS.

Gary ;)
