Roland U20

My much loved Roland U20 has started sounding as if someone is randomly flicking the bend wheel. This occurs after it has been on for about 5 minutes and until then it's fine. I tried replacing the bend wheel but this didn't help and I wondered if I should have replaced the circuitry around the bend wheel as well. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.

As a workaround you might be able to disable the pitch bend from the menus.

Otherwise I'm stumped.

You're welcome. If it still makes the distortion after that then you could always try a factory reset on the board after making a backup first.

If it persists after all that then you have a scope and multimeter problem
