Roland w30 no boot

Hi, how are you? I go to this forum because I have a problem with my Roland w30. Replace the volume potentiometer with one of the same characteristics, it started to raise temperature and then stop starting correctly, just go to the screen that says "welcome to the world of roland w30" (or something like that) and then turn off that screen and returns to give the same message, remove the piece and it remained the same. The same thing happened with different startup diskettes that I have. Someone with some information that can help me?
